About this role
Sr. Performance Marketing Manager (SEM & App Search) We are seeking a hands-on growth marketing leader to scale our search acquisition engine across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads. Reporting to the VP of Direct-to-Consumer, you will have end-to-end ownership of the SEM channel—from strategic forecasting to daily execution—leveraging AI and automation to drive profitable account growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities Direct Channel Ownership: Lead end-to-end strategy and execution for SEM (Google, Bing) and App Search (Apple), managing large monthly budgets directly without agency oversight. Performance Optimization: Drive core metrics including CAC, LTV, and ROAS through rigorous daily management of campaigns, keywords, bids, and landing page strategies. Strategic Execution: Build, launch, and scale campaigns using a "test and scale" approach, including partner campaign structures and audience signal testing. AI & Automation Integration: Utilize platform scripts and AI-driven bidding strategies to improve efficiency, experimental keyword expansion, and creative iteration. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze performance via platform data and attribution models; create dashboards and channel forecasts for senior leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Analytics, Product, Compliance, and Brand teams to ensure seamless, compliant, and high-converting customer journeys. Required Skills & Qualifications 7+ Years of Performance Marketing: Deep expertise in SEM and digital acquisition within high-scale consumer (B2C) environments. Large Budget Management: Proven experience directly managing six-to-seven-figure monthly spends. Platform Mastery: Advanced hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads. Technical Analytical Skills: Ability to independently pull and interpret data to inform testing roadmaps and investment decisions. Industry Knowledge: Staying current on privacy changes, match type evolution, and the evolving Apple ecosystem. Education: BA required; Master's (MS) degree preferred. Preferred Background FinTech or Technology: Experience in subscription-based software or financial technology is ideal. Startup Mindset: A self-starter bias toward action and experimentation, common in fast-paced startup environments. Knowledge of competitors such as Sofi, Chime, Robinhood, or Rocket Money is highly valued.
