Job DescriptionAligned with the sales growth strategy, the Marketing Specialist – Commercial Mechanical is responsible for spearheading the strategic development and implementation of product launch strategies and go-to-market programs targeting the global commercial construction industry.Victaulic is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Marketing Specialist to lead product commercialization initiatives from concept through launch and lifecycle management. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, engineering, and marketing, driving alignment and delivering impactful go-to-market strategies that fuel business growth. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with direct experience driving new product introductions, product positioning, and technical marketing for the B2B market.What They Bring To The TableStrong solutions-oriented mindsetDriven to understand the bigger pictureAttention to detail in time management, creating efficiencies, writing, editingActs and moves with a sense of urgencyAbility to dig into the ambiguous and create actionable plansDetermined and dependable team playerResponsibilitiesResponsible for driving alignment with the Commercial Mechanical sales leaders and product management on product commercialization prioritiesInterface with local and global sales, product management, engineering, corporate and satellite marketing team members and business teams to develop product launch strategies, positioning, and go-to-market plansLead comprehensive product commercialization initiatives from concept through launch and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectivesBridge internal and external resources to strategically lead and develop tactical product commercialization plans and drive them to completion. Tactical areas include but are not limited to product positioning, value proposition development, competitive analysis, technical documentation, public relations materials, sales tools, launch communications, and customer education programs and campaigns.Assist in development of annual and long-range product commercialization roadmap development, launch calendars and budgetsLeverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and voice-of-customer to create clear and value-oriented product messaging that breaks through channel noise - partner with engineering and product management to translate technical features into customer benefits and compelling value propositionsEnsure product messaging consistency and adherence to all corporate brand graphic standards and guidelines across all product touchpointsMonitor performance post-launch and gather feedback to inform continuous improvement and future product developmentIdentify areas for operational improvement within responsibilities to support the company’s overall objectivesQualificationsCollege degree in marketing and/or communications desired6+ years of experience in B2B marketing. Construction industry experience desired, but not required. Provide specific product commercialization examplesAbility to develop strategic and innovative product positioning and go-to-market strategiesStrong technical aptitude with ability to understand and communicate complex product features and specificationsRobust collaboration and leadership skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teamsExcellent project management and organizational skills with experience managing multiple product launches simultaneouslyStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills for technical and commercial contentMust have computer skills and knowledge of relevant software including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Teams/Zoom, and Word Press.
