About this role

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is seeking a temporary part time Marketing Intern to join our Syracuse office this summer. Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief Marketing Officer and members of the marketing team, the Marketing Intern provides administrative and project support to help ensure the smooth operation of firmwide marketing activities. Position Responsibilities Digital & Social Media Support Assist in drafting, scheduling, and publishing social media posts Monitor engagement and compile analytics reports Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity Content & Creative Support Help create marketing materials such as flyers, presentations, and graphics Proofread and edit content for accuracy and consistency Assist with updating website pages and digital assets Campaign & Project Assistance Support email marketing campaigns, including list updates and performance tracking Assist with advertising, promotional campaigns, and brand initiatives Help maintain marketing calendars and project timelines Event & Webinar Coordination Assist with planning and logistics for events, webinars, and conferences Prepare attendee materials, track registrations, and support day‑of execution Help collect and summarize post‑event feedback Research & Analytics Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, and target audiences Compile data into clear summaries or presentations for the marketing team Assist with tracking KPIs and preparing monthly marketing reports Administrative & Operational Support Organize marketing files, assets, and documentation Assist with vendor coordination and invoice processing Support team members with general administrative tasks Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Associate’s college degree (preferably marketing, PR or communications) and/or equivalent experience Excellent customer service, problem solving and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Aptitude for working in various software platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be detail orientated, able to multi-task, and manage time effectively Interact professionally with potential clients, attorneys and staff Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign desirable At Bond, exceptional work product and a collegial work environment are cornerstones of our success. This position's salary range is between $18 and $20 per hour, negotiable based on years’ experience.
