About this role

### Description The Communications Manager at Bright Data will support the company’s external reputation by creating stronger internal alignment, improving crisis readiness, maintaining reputation-related messaging systems, monitoring risk areas, and supporting proactive and reactive communications. The Communications Manager owns the systems, documentation, monitoring, coordination, and first-draft response work that allows consistent, fast responses while protecting the company’s reputation proactively. This role will work directly under the Senior Director of PR and Communications. ### Responsibilities - Monitor reputation-sensitive topics, external mentions, and emerging risks. - Maintain a live reputation risk tracker and weekly issue summary. - Support crisis response through fact gathering, first-draft statements, issue logs, timelines, and monitoring. - Develop and maintain internal messaging documents for key external narratives. - Build processes that help employees use approved external messaging and route external assets for review. - Maintain crisis templates, FAQs, and issue-specific playbooks. - Support executive conversations with briefing materials, notes, follow-ups, and documentation. - Draft outreach for relationship-building. - Coordinate with teams and executives as needed. - Support crisis training and reputation readiness initiatives. **What this person will own** - Reputation monitoring system. -CRM for influencers/journalists. - Updates to internal messaging document hub. - External asset approval workflow. - First drafts of crisis and reputation materials. - Messaging version control. **What this person will support** - Crisis response. - Executive communications. - External brand communications narrative. **KPIs** Faster in crisis response & coordination More consistent in external messaging Prepared for reputation risks ### Requirements - Strong writer. - Highly organized. - Calm under pressure. - Comfortable with sensitive information. - Able to work with executives without needing to be the lead voice. - Good at translating strategy into documents and processes. - Skilled at monitoring and pattern recognition. - Able to draft quickly but accept edits. - Strong judgment about what to escalate. - Comfortable working with legal, executives, product, security, and marketing. - Detail-oriented enough to manage trackers and version control. - Strategic enough to understand why reputation issues matter.
