Advertising Account Executive

This is an entry level position for an Account Executive GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Build, present, sell, and execute cross-platform advertising campaignsCreate client re-caps, demonstrating delivery and effectiveness of advertising campaignsMaintain and sell existing TV and digital accountsProspect and sell new business, using television and digital productsAbility to make face to face outside sales visitsIdentify business opportunities by identifying prospects, learn their business, and propose solutionsPresent marketing/advertising ideas to area businesses. QUALIFICATIONS: A 4-year college degree or equivalent professional experience is preferredCustomer-service oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong local contactExcellent computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerpointProficient with mobile digital technologyOutstanding written and verbal presentation skills and Organizational skillsAn intense desire to succeed in a commission-based sales environmentA pre-employment and random drug screening is requiredMust have a good driving recordProfessional appearance a mustAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to overcome objectionsMeet and exceed monthly broadcast and digital goals
