About this role

Our Lamar office in Albany, New York is looking for a new Transit Sales Specialist Field to help bring innovative advertising campaigns to life in Albany, NY, and the surrounding areas. The purpose of the Local Sales Specialist is to meet and exceed sales projections by selling transit advertising to qualified advertisers. The Transit & Airport division of Lamar Advertising takes advertisements street-level and delivers the advertising message to drivers and pedestrians in a fresh, non-conventional way. We assist local, regional, and national advertisers reach their target audience on the go. The purpose of the Local Sales Specialist is to meet and exceed sales projections by selling transit advertising to qualified advertisers using professional sales techniques (i.e. being well spoken, professional appearance, etc.) This position acts as the communication conduit between all interested parties during the entire sales and service process. This position coordinates with a combination of local and Out of Market (OOM) Sales Account Executives in the Lamar regions and National Sales Account Executives. Why Lamar?
