About The Role
As a Manager, Offsite Retail Media, you will lead the operational execution, channel strategy, and commercialization for Wayfair’s offsite retail media. In this role, you will scale existing offsite channels (such as search, social, and partner affiliate networks) while helping shape the roadmap for new external media offerings.
You will manage a team of analysts and associates, partner closely with Sales leadership to equip teams with winning narratives, build relationships with major ad platforms, and collaborate with Enterprise Marketing and Technology teams to build scalable infrastructure. You will bridge channel strategy, data analysis, and commercial execution to establish offsite media as a core growth engine for Wayfair's supplier partners.
What You'll Do
Guide the roadmap for offsite retail media, scaling existing channels (including offsite search, social, and affiliate networks) while evaluating new ad formats and platform integrations.Own relationships with key external media and ad tech partners (e.g., Meta, Google, Levanta, and emerging channels like Pinterest), driving joint initiatives, beta testing opportunities, and platform updates.Define product packaging, entry points, and commercial models (standalone vs. bundled) to drive supplier adoption and revenue.Create high-impact sales collateral, pitch decks, and playbooks. Partner with Sales leadership to conduct enablement sessions and continually refine product positioning based on advertiser feedback.Work with Enterprise Marketing to align offsite ads with enterprise brand strategy, and partner with Engineering to automate backend workflows capable of scaling to thousands of suppliers.Conduct self-serve data analysis to track campaign performance, evaluate how offsite ads drive onsite behavior, and build data-backed growth stories for brand partners.Coach and manage a team of analysts and associates, overseeing their day-to-day work, project allocation, and professional growth.
What You'll Need
4+ years of experience in retail media, digital advertising, ad tech, or e-commerce growth strategy.1+ years of direct people management or team lead experience, with a track record of coaching team members and driving project execution.Hands-on vendor management experience, working directly with major ad networks, digital platforms, or external media partners.Proven go-to-market and sales enablement experience, including creating pitch materials, product positioning, and training sales teams.Analytical capability, including experience using SQL and analytics tools to pull performance data, evaluate metrics, and translate numbers into clear commercial stories.Cross-functional execution skills, with experience driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams
