Social Media & Community Marketing Coordinator

Smokin' Jack's BBQ and Tallow 52 are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and highly creative Social Media & Community Marketing Coordinator to elevate our brand presence across digital platforms while helping drive restaurant, catering, event, and food truck sales. This is a hands-on content creation role. We are looking for someone who can tell compelling stories through photography, videography, social media, and community engagement. You will be responsible for creating content, managing social media channels, growing online communities, promoting events, and showcasing the food, beverages, and hospitality experiences that make our brands unique. Requirements Reliable transportation is required. Must be able to travel between our East Side, Brown Deer, 3rd Street Market Hall, catering events, festivals, and food truck locations. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events. Proven experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing. Strong photography, videography, and editing skills. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software. Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and paid advertising platforms. Strong communication and organizational skills. Restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, or event marketing experience preferred. Duties & Responsibilities Create and publish daily content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile. Capture professional photos and videos of food, cocktails, beer, events, catering, weddings, festivals, and behind-the-scenes operations. Create reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, and graphic content. Promote catering, private events, food truck appearances, and restaurant specials. Monitor and respond to reviews, comments, messages, and guest inquiries. Manage social media calendars and scheduling tools. Coordinate influencer visits, media opportunities, and community partnerships. Assist with website updates, email marketing, and promotional campaigns. Analyze social media and website performance and provide weekly reports. Performance Expectations Minimum of 2 social media posts per day. Minimum of 5 reels or short-form videos per week. Weekly content calendar completed and approved. Active promotion of all locations, events, and special offers. Growth in engagement, followers, online ordering, catering leads, and private event inquiries. Compensation $18.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities.
