Social Media & Marketing Coordinator Primary job is to create content, manage the brand, and execute marketing initiatives that fuel growth. Position Details 35 hours per week in salon In person for content creation and team collaboration Starting pay: $20-$25/hour Opportunity for compensation growth as responsibilities and results increase Open to negotiation for candidates with experience in Meta ads, content strategy, or the beauty industry Ideal Candidate You might be a great fit if you: Love social media, branding, and content creation Have strong Canva skills Are comfortable filming and editing short-form video Understand what makes content convert, not just look pretty Can write compelling copy Stay current on trends while protecting brand consistency Are organized and self-directed Can take an idea and execute it without constant direction What Success Looks Like Increased new guest inquiries Increased social engagement Strong recruiting pipeline Consistent content output Growth in brand awareness More visibility for Max + Ro in the local market Core Responsibilities Social Media Management Manage all Max + Ro social media accounts Create monthly content calendars Schedule and publish content Write captions in the Max + Ro brand voice Monitor comments and messages Track performance and report insights Guest Conversion & DM Engagement Respond to all Instagram and Facebook DMs within 24 hours Engage with comments in a way that's personable After replying to engagers, proactively DM them to move the conversation toward booking (or shadowing/setting up a zoom interview if it’s a potential stylist) Track inquiry-to-booking conversion and report on it weekly Content Creation Capture photo and video content weekly Edit Reels, Stories, carousels, and promotional content Create graphics and marketing assets in Canva Maintain a content library Direct stylists on content opportunities and trends Brand Growth Ensure all marketing aligns with Max + Ro's luxury, approachable brand Develop campaigns around promotions, recruiting, retail, and extensions Create marketing plans for launches and events Identify local partnership and community opportunities Help positioning for Max + Ro in our local market Recruiting Marketing Create recruiting content Manage hiring campaigns Create graphics, videos, and social content to attract stylists Support hiring events In-Salon Marketing Create signage Design promotional materials Support retail campaigns Create team resources and educational graphics Maintain a consistent guest experience through branding Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Salem, OR 97304
