Social Media and Marketing Manager

About Us Bar Bagel is a modern bagel and coffee shop with a strong focus on branding, aesthetics, specialty food, and community. We’re looking for a creative and motivated individual who understands modern social media trends and can help bring our brand to life online through content creation, photography, graphic design, and marketing ideas. We want someone who can create clean, aesthetic, engaging content that matches our vibe and helps grow our online presence. A large part of our customer base comes from nearby college students, so we’re especially looking for somebody who understands modern college culture, trends, and aesthetics and can help align our brand and content with that audience while still keeping our unique identity. Responsibilities Create engaging Instagram/TikTok/Reel contentShoot aesthetic food, coffee, and lifestyle photography/videoEdit short-form content for social mediaDesign graphics, posts, menus, promotions, and marketing materialsCome up with creative marketing ideas and social campaignsCapture behind-the-scenes content in-storeHelp build and maintain a strong brand identityCreate content that connects with local college students and campus cultureStay on top of social media trends and viral food contentAssist with story posts, promotions, launches, and seasonal campaignsWhat We’re Looking For Experience with photography/videography and social media content creationSkilled in graphic design and editing apps/softwareUnderstanding of Instagram, TikTok, and food/coffee branding trendsCreative mindset with strong attention to aestheticsAbility to work independently and bring fresh ideasPortfolio or examples of previous work preferredExperience with restaurant/cafe content is a plusIdeal Candidate You’re someone who understands modern food and coffee culture online and knows how to create content that feels authentic, cinematic, trendy, and engaging. We’re looking for somebody who can help turn everyday moments in the shop into strong social media content and creative marketing ideas while helping us build a brand that resonates strongly with the local college community.
