About this role

About the company Our client is a fast-growing software company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Establish and lead the product marketing discipline for a B2B software business, owning positioning, messaging and go-to-market execution. The role works across product, sales and leadership teams and also brings AI-assisted methods into everyday marketing work. What you'll do - Define how the product is positioned and described for different audiences, buyer roles and regions. - Set up the product marketing function from scratch: review current assets, create a working playbook and put it into practice. - Plan and run go-to-market efforts for new products, partnerships and feature releases in multiple markets. - Manage the full sales enablement program, producing competitive and objection-handling materials, sales collateral, ROI tools, demo scripts and hands-on deal support. - Partner with cross-functional colleagues in product, sales, customer success and marketing to influence how prospects find and choose the product. - Build and roll out AI-supported workflows for competitor tracking, research analysis, content drafting and enablement production. - Direct the messaging and positioning approach for a planned website redesign. - Combine customer conversations, deal outcome analysis and market trends into practical recommendations. - Develop a bank of customer proof points and cultivate advocates for references, case studies and events. - Mentor regional marketing managers so their demand generation campaigns stay consistent with core messaging. **Requirements** What we're looking for - Roughly five to eight years in product marketing within a B2B software company. - A history of creating a product marketing function from the ground up. - Proven ownership of go-to-market launches from planning through delivery. - Ability to turn complex offerings into clear, persuasive positioning that generates pipeline. - Comfort with ambiguity and a collaborative style across product, sales and marketing. - A university degree in marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. - Based in Austin and available in the office three days a week. - Willingness to travel two to three times per quarter. Bonus points - Background in construction technology or proptech. - Experience marketing to technical or field-based buyers. **Benefits** Compensation and benefits - Base salary: USD 130,000 to 160,000 per year - Equity - Health insurance - Paid annual leave - Enhanced parental leave Location and work model - Austin, TX, United States - Hybrid, 3 days per week in office - Full-time
