Recruiting & Social Media Intern - Fall 2026 ============================================ **Department:** Operations **Employment Type:** Full Time **Location:** Michigan **Reporting To:** Director of Talent Acquisition ### Description **Slifco Electric** is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations. We're looking for a motivated and creative Recruiting & Social Media Intern to join our team for Fall/Winter 2026. This internship is a great opportunity for a student interested in recruiting, marketing, communications, or social media who wants hands-on experience in a fast-growing electrical construction company. You’ll work directly with our Director of Talent Acquisition and gain real-world experience supporting recruiting initiatives, college outreach, employer branding, and social media content. ### What You'll Be Doing: * Assist with recruiting and sourcing candidates for open positions. * Help review resumes and organize candidate information. * Support interview scheduling and candidate communication. * Assist with college recruiting, career fairs, and campus outreach. * Help create content for LinkedIn and other company social media platforms. * Develop graphics, hiring posts, employee spotlights, and recruiting campaigns. * Take photos and videos at company events, jobsites, career fairs, and employee activities. * Assist with planning and maintaining a social media content calendar. * Help develop creative ways to showcase Slifco’s employees, projects, culture, and career opportunities. * Support additional Talent Acquisition and employer branding projects as needed. ### What We're Looking For: * Pursing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Proficiency across all social media platforms and Canva. * Experience with content creation and content analytics. * Someone who will bring new ideas to the team. ### Why Intern at Slifco?
