About this role

Lamar Advertising Company seeks an Outdoor Installer to post and maintain billboards and digital displays in the field. In this role, you’ll install vinyl, panels, and digital components, ensuring campaigns are accurate, visible, and on time. You’ll work outdoors year-round, often at significant heights, operating trucks, lifts, ladders, and power tools while following strict safety and fall-protection procedures. Responsibilities include basic structural and electrical checks, repairs, and photo documentation of work. You’ll collaborate closely with local operations and sales teams, representing Lamar with professionalism in the communities we serve. Install and maintain outdoor billboard and digital advertising structures to company specifications Safely operate trucks, lifts, and hand/power tools to complete installation and maintenance tasks Load, unload, and position materials, vinyl, and digital components at job sites Perform site checks, basic electrical and structural inspections, and report repair needs Follow all OSHA, company, and DOT safety standards, including use of PPE and fall protection Work at heights and in varying weather conditions to meet installation schedules Document completed work with photos, logs, and basic digital reporting tools Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely campaign posting Communicate professionally with property owners, customers, and the local team Participate in regular safety meetings, equipment checks, and skills training Billboard or signage installation Use of hand and power tools Working safely at heights Aerial lift and ladder operation Basic electrical/low-voltage knowledge Reading site plans or work orders Equipment and truck loading/rigging PPE and OSHA safety compliance Basic digital/photo documentation Physical labor and outdoor work Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety certification preferred Aerial lift and fall-protection training/certification Basic electrical or low-voltage experience preferred Capability to pass DOT physical and company background checks
