Event Marketing Assistant Location: McAllen, TX | On-site across local event locations Hours: Full-time, primarily weekdays, with some events scheduled in advance for evenings or weekends Pay: $20–$22 per hour Bonus: Up to $500 quarterly based on campaign delivery and team goals Bring the Campaign Into the Community A good event gives people a reason to stop, ask a question, and remember the conversation. We’re looking for an Event Marketing Assistant who can help make those moments happen at brand activations and community events across McAllen and the Rio Grande Valley. You’ll work with a team, learn each campaign before meeting the public, and bring back the feedback that helps us improve the next one. Where you’ll make an impact Prepare displays, promotional materials, and information for each activation.Welcome visitors, explain the campaign clearly, and answer everyday questions.Help manage sign-ups, giveaways, and event supplies.Notice which messages people respond to and share useful feedback with the marketing team.Support setup, breakdown, and follow-up so every event runs smoothly. What you’ll bring Confidence starting a conversation and the curiosity to listen.Reliability when meeting a team at different locations around the Valley.An organized approach, even when an event gets busy.Experience in hospitality, retail, campus activities, or community events is welcome, but not essential. Spanish and English are helpful, but not required. We provide campaign training and hands-on coaching. As you grow, you can take ownership of an activation area and develop toward event coordination or a broader marketing role.
