About this role

Job Description The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the continued development of the brand identity, special event programming, and marketing execution for Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus Reno. This role is responsible for planning and execution of events by partnering with food and beverage, banquets, gaming and Caesars Rewards. Responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in all projects related to the successful planning, coordination, administration, and execution of various marketing projects and activities. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the marketing budget, closing financial reporting and ensuring all marketing items are in line with our brand identity. This position will collaborate with Marketing, Advertising and Social Media leadership to design programs that enhance the brand and drive incremental revenue. Responsibilities Coordinates and develop the planning, operation and execution of all casino events including, but not limited to, Slot and Table Games tournaments, giveaways, floor-wide promotions, and host eventsPlans, develops and creates programs, agendas, collateral and services according to each event’s requirements; coordinates services for events, such as catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing, and event securityGuest relations as it involves interacting with guests during deployment of special events and promotionsAssists the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing in developing and adhering to operating budgetsAssists in developing and implementing on and off property special events, tournaments, concerts and festivals for casino marketing purposes including obtaining applicable city permitsConfers with Marketing staff to coordinate and assign event projects and detailsAssists Marketing department with property signageInput purchase requisition and check requests for special property eventsResponsible for proof reading Marketing collateral pieces; proof reading and approval of all mailers and promotional signageResponsible for maintaining accurate and thorough departmental records and reports in accordance to Internal Audit and Gaming Control Board rulesRespond to guest surveys and inquiries through email and phoneMonitors event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, and resolves any problems that ariseManagement of property website. Includes coordination with corporate digital team.Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and visionExemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culturePerform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Gaming industry experience is preferredMarketing experience is preferredMust possess excellent communications and guest service skillsMust be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needsAccurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressuresAbility to obtain a valid state gaming licenseExperience managing insurance claims a plusHigh School diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred Additional Requirements Office environmentWork environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levelsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged periodsMust be able to complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressuresMust be able to multi-task GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
