Marketing and Receiving Specialist

Position: Marketing and Receiving Specialists Location: Lexington, KY Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Summary This is a full-time, dual-role position at a cannabis testing lab in Kentucky. You'll handle receiving and logging incoming cannabis samples while also creating and running marketing campaigns to promote the lab's services. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, passionate about cannabis, and understands industry rules. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and log incoming cannabis samples. Enter accurate data into LIMS (lab software) and Metrc (state tracking system). Check that samples are intact, properly documented, and follow Kentucky cannabis laws. Create and manage marketing campaigns, including social media content, to attract clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred, not required). Good knowledge of Kentucky cannabis regulations. Strong communication skills for dealing with clients. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and lab software (LIMS).
