Director of Marketing and Programs

Overview We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Social Media & Digital Strategy to lead, innovate, and elevate our digital presence at a leadership level. This is not a posting role, this is a strategic position for someone who understands how to influence perception, strengthen a brand, and drive meaningful engagement across a diverse and growing business community. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of a high-level digital and social media strategy aligned with the Chamber’s vision and growth initiatives Position the Chamber as a leading voice within the business community through impactful storytelling and content strategy Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and measurable growth Analyze performance metrics and translate insights into strategic decisions and ROI-driven actions Collaborate closely with leadership, members, and partners to amplify initiatives, events, and advocacy efforts Identify opportunities for innovation, partnerships, and digital expansion Skills Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in social media leadership, digital marketing, or brand strategy Demonstrated success in building and scaling digital presence for an organization or brand Strong leadership mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively Advanced understanding of analytics, audience engagement, and content performance Exceptional communication and storytelling skills Flexibility with schedules, including events, evenings, and weekends as needed Professional Standars & Requirements We hold this role to the highest standards of professionalism and trust: Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening Strong alignment with integrity, ethics, and core values Commitment to representing the Chamber with professionalism and accountability What We Offer: A high-visibility leadership role within a respected and influential organization The opportunity to shape the digital voice of the regional business community Direct collaboration with executive leadership and key stakeholders A purpose-driven environment focused on impact, growth, and community COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Salary is commensurate with experience and is structured with an annual salary. Health and dental insurance is provided through a proportionate cost to the employee. Other benefits include paid holidays, personal time off policy, retirement matching program, reimbursement of business travel, professional development, and training. The Chamber strives to provide compensation at market rates when compared to like organizations.
