About the Role We’re looking for an organized, design-driven Creative Marketing Associate to help tell our story across social media and bring our showroom events to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves design, has a good eye, and is excited to grow into the marketing function of a beloved local business. You’ll work directly with the leadership team and be the steady hand behind our daily marketing presence — posting to social, engaging with our community online, designing invitations for designer events, and crafting brochures that put our materials in their best light. You’ll be based at our Santa Rosa showroom, surrounded by the products you’ll be marketing — with easy access to our slab gallery, tile displays, and the designers who use them every day. What You’ll Do Social media management Plan and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest Capture photo and short-form video content of new arrivals, slabs, tile installations, and showroom moments Write captions that sound like us — warm, knowledgeable, design-forward Monitor comments and DMs and Google reviews daily; respond promptly and route product or trade questions to the right team member Track what’s working (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share simple monthly reports Event marketing & invitations Design digital and printed invitations for designer events, vendor nights, and showroom launches Coordinate event logistics in partnership with the showroom team: RSVPs, signage, refreshments, follow-ups Capture event coverage — photos and short video clips — for social and email recap Brochures, collateral & visual content Design product brochures, lookbooks, sell sheets, and trade-show materials in Canva, Adobe Express, or InDesign Maintain a clean, on-brand library of templates, images, and product imagery Help with email campaigns — designer newsletters, event invites, new-arrival announcements Maintain company website with live slab inventory and product maintentance Brand & community Keep our voice consistent across every channel Build relationships with local designers, vendors, and industry partners Spot opportunities — trends, tagging, collaborations, press — and bring them to the team Who You Are A natural communicator with strong writing instincts — you can sound polished, friendly, or playful depending on the moment Visually inclined — you notice good design and care about how things look Comfortable shooting clean photos and short videos on a phone Organized and reliable — you can juggle a content calendar, an event invitation, and a brochure draft in the same week Self-directed, but love working alongside a small, supportive team Genuinely interested in interiors, materials, and craft (you don’t need to be a designer — just curious) Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Familiarity with Constant Contact or similar email platforms Basic photography or short-form video editing (Reels, CapCut) Coursework or internship in marketing, communications, design, or interior design An eye for tile, stone, paint, or interiors — even if just as a fan What We Offer A welcoming, design-rich workplace where your taste matters Direct mentorship from the owner and leadership team Room to grow — this role can evolve as you do A front-row seat to the Bay Area design community Competitive pay, employee discount on materials, and a beautiful showroom to call your work home How to Apply Send a short note about yourself, your resume, and any examples of your work (social handle
