The Marketing Element | In-Office (RGV) | Full-Time Preferred, Part-Time Considered Local, short-distance travel to client shoots required. About the Role The Marketing Element is looking for a Content & Social Media Coordinator to support our growing roster of client accounts. This is a hands-on, creative role ideal for someone who loves content, understands social media trends, and wants to grow within a marketing agency environment. This position is a true hybrid of content creation, social media management, and client support. You'll work closely with our creative team and clients to help bring content strategies to life, from behind-the-scenes moments to short-form video and social media execution across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This is a starting role with room to grow in responsibilities, title, and pay based on performance, strengths, and goals. Key Responsibilities Content Creation Capture candid photos, behind-the-scenes footage, and lifestyle content during client shoots Assist the videographer by keeping an eye on details the camera may miss (client appearance, energy, positioning) Create short-form content (Reels, Stories, TikToks) using iPhone-based tools Occasionally lead casual iPhone-only content shoots for select client accounts (as experience grows) Social Media Management Schedule posts, stories, and short-form videos across client platforms using tools like Metricool Monitor and interact with social media accounts (engagement, light responses, brand awareness) Track basic engagement metrics and flag what's working to the team Help maintain consistent brand voice and visual quality Content Planning & Strategy Support Stay up to date on social media trends, sounds, and formats Keep an ear out for audience feedback and trending topics that could shape content (social listening) Contribute ideas for content calendars and client strategies Collaborate with the team on creative direction for client accounts Client Coordination Communicate directly with clients via shared team chat platforms Attend client shoots prepared with content ideas, scripts, and creative support Help ensure clients feel comfortable, confident, and well-represented during shoots Organization & Operations Assist with coordinating shoot schedules and deliverables Keep content and client information organized Support internal workflows to keep projects moving smoothly Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation preferred (agency experience a plus, not required) Comfortable using: iPhone for photo/video content CapCut or similar short-form video editing tools Canva or similar basic graphic design tools Highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual (English & Spanish) — required for client communication Outgoing, proactive, and confident working with clients Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally Strong initiative, positive attitude, and desire to grow within a creative agency All camera and content equipment is provided by The Marketing Element.
