Advertising Account Executive

As an Advertising Account Executive you will secure new clients and ensure that existing clients remain satisfied with our advertising products and services. Our Advertising Account Executives are enthusiastic; self-motivated and organized. You must be passionate about solving local business marketing challenges and increasing new accounts. Your responsibilities include identifying clients' needs and presenting Digital & Print advertising options to best meet those needs. To be successful, you should demonstrate effective written & verbal communication skills and be able to build rapport with clients. Ultimately, an outstanding Advertising Account Executive should achieve excellent customer service and continually meet or exceed sales goals & quotas. Advertising Account Executives responsibilities include: -Calling, networking and knowledge of the demographic information about our media outlet's audience -Building and sustaining long lasting relationships with existing and potential clients -Compiling audience data and research to present it to clients and potential clients -Attending sales onsite sales training and daily team meetings -Selling advertising products and services by communicating the benefits of various types of advertising -Providing recommendations on suitable formats and advertising mediums -Preparing advertisements for sold products with our in house graphic design team Advertising Account Executives requirements include: -High School Diploma -2 years in advertising, communications or related field -Proven experience working in sales -Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite applications -Sound knowledge of marketing principals and techniques -Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills -Effective communication skills
