Marketing Firm Controller/HR Generalist

OverviewThe Finance/HR Generalist will handle all day to day finance, accounting and human resources tasks for Sasquatch Agency. Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting functions including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, client billing, general ledger, etc.Administer payroll system including bi-weekly processing, GL recordkeeping, payroll tax monitoring, quarterly reconciliation of payroll tax returns, year-end income inclusions and workers compensation auditManage all banking activitiesEnsure balance sheet integrity with monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including analysis and adjusting entriesMaintain appropriate financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy of financial information and systemsAnalyze, forecast and maintain cash flow to adequately meet the Agency’s obligationsGenerate and provide reports to company’s CPA firm as needed including annual year-end tax prep & documentationGenerate and file annual 1099’sTrack asset purchases & inventory. The Account Coordinator will get exposure to a wide range of clients and brands, and learn the ins and outs of agency account management — and the systems that keep it running smoothly — from a team of seasoned professionals. Experience in a client-facing or agency environment is preferred, and a working knowledge of the outdoor recreation, active lifestyle, and/or food & beverage industries is a plus. We are hiring a Digital Project Lead, Web Development to shepherd projects through our digital pipeline and serve as the senior technical resource for our developers. This role reports to the Digital Director. Flag risks early and partner with account managers to handle scope conversations with the client.Translate scope from account managers into clean, well-defined tickets the dev team can pick up and run with. Catch issues early, give developers feedback that actually helps them grow.Pitch in on development directly as overflow capacity — when the dev team is slammed and something needs to ship, you can pick up tickets and get them done.Decide what gets escalated up to the Digital Director (architecture decisions, IT, vendor changes, security) versus what stays at your level.Cross-functional support (~5%) 4–6 years in digital project management, web production, or a hybrid PM/developer role.
