Our client is a leading North American advertising company with a specialized airport media division. This opportunity is tied to a new advertising and sponsorship partnership at a major Midwest international airport, creating a rare chance to help build a market from the ground up with the support of an established national media organization. This person will prospect new advertisers, build a local book of business, present media opportunities, bring prospects on-site for airport tours, develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and close business. The role will work closely with internal sales, national sales, fulfillment, campaign support, and airport stakeholders. 5+ years of sales experience preferred, ideally in local media, out-of-home, airport, transit, mall, radio, TV, digital advertising, sponsorship, or related B2B sales Proven ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, close, and manage a local book of business Experience selling to local businesses, agencies, marketing leaders, business owners, tourism organizations, or regional brands Strong face-to-face presentation skills and comfort leading clients through on-site tours or consultative sales meetings Ability to manage multiple pipeline stages at once, including prospecting, proposals, negotiations, and closed accounts Strong communication skills with both clients and internal teams CRM discipline and comfort using sales tools, media kits, rate cards, and proposal platforms Local Minneapolis / Minnesota market knowledge strongly preferred Experience in OOH, airport media, transit media, mall media, radio, TV, or local advertising is highly relevant Must be comfortable in a fast-ramp launch environment with high expectations and significant upside THE BENEFITSBase salary of up to approximately $80,000 plus commission.
