Digital NEST is an innovative workforce development center that has welcomed thousands of youth from working-class, farmworker communities to develop the technical and professional skills they need to achieve their dreams. The Instructor Associate will deliver classes, support hands-on learning, and mentor members in developing both technical and professional skills. Facilitate seasonal training sessions that build foundational Digital Marketing skills and prepare youth for careers using provided curriculum and lesson plans. Through this program, associates hone and develop their technical and professional skills, gain real professional experience by working with clients, build professional level portfolios and resumes, and become competitively qualified for entry-level, career-focused employment. bizzNEST is looking for a motivated Associate who can assist with our digital, print and social media marketing projects. The Associate will contribute to various marketing initiatives, including content creation, video marketing, graphic design, social media management, copywriting, and analytics. Technical Skills / Experience:Some experience working with Canva and/or other content creation tools.Some experience working with Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.Basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar) is a plus.Experience creating persuasive & compelling written contentBilingual in Spanish is a plus.Experience with video editing softwares is a plus.

bizzNEST is looking for a motivated Associate who can assist with our video marketing production projects, and is a quick learner and has a passion for this field. They will be creating video content for external clients as well as working within the organization. Experience working with DSLR/Cinema cameras and production equipment (lighting, audio, support systems.Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite / DaVinci.Background in social media short form content production is a plus.Desired Professional Skills: Ability to be an ally to people of color, women and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer, questioning and intersex individuals and their allies (LGBTQIA).Ability to meet the minimum amount of hours required.Maintain dexterity and coordination, sufficient to perform essential functions.Ability to sit for long periods of time performing desk-based computer tasks.Ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 35 pounds as needed.Maintain dexterity and coordination, sufficient to perform essential functions.Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours a day for production work.To participate in some production opportunities the Associate will be responsible for their own transportation.In-person participation at either Watsonville or Salinas Digital NEST sites.Available nights and weekends for production work, on occasion. The Senior Associate will contribute to various marketing initiatives, including content creation, video marketing, graphic design, social media management, copywriting, and analytics. Technical Skills / Experience: Some experience working with Canva and/or other content creation tools.Some experience working with Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.Basic experience with video editing softwares.
