Media Coordinator: Planning and Buying

You’ll learn how campaigns move from strategy and media recommendations through proposals, rates, buying, execution, optimization and invoice reconciliation. We’re looking for someone who pays attention to the details, follows through, asks smart questions and is curious about why we make the media decisions we do, not just how to execute them. Strong organization and attention to detail.Dependable follow-through on assignments and deadlines.Basic spreadsheet skills and comfort checking numbers.Clear, professional written and verbal communication.The ability to follow instructions and apply feedback.Initiative to move work forward while recognizing when approval or clarification is needed.Willingness to own mistakes and help correct them.Interest in advertising and a desire to develop a career in media. Relevant experience can come from employment, internships, coursework, volunteer work, or student organizations. Agency Traffic Manager

You'll be staffing projects and tracking timelines and actually running production — booking crews, managing vendors, keeping shoots and print jobs and digital builds on schedule and on budget. You're equally comfortable in a spreadsheet, on a call with a printer, and on set solving a problem before it becomes a delay. Maintain a real-time view of who's working on what, and who has capacity — across staff and freelancers Staff new projects quickly, flagging conflicts before they become fires Source, negotiate rates with, and manage freelance talent as needed Keep Teamwork (and other project tools) accurate and actually useful, not just a formality 3–6+ years in a creative producer, project manager, or traffic manager role — agency or in-house, creative/marketing environment preferred Real experience running production logistics in at least two of: video/photo, print, digital (we'll train up the third) Comfort negotiating with vendors and freelancers — rates, timelines, contracts A proactive style: you flag problems before they're emergencies, not after Fluency with project management tools (Teamwork or similar); approval tools (PageProof or similar) a plus Calm under pressure when five things are due at once — because they will be Experience scaling a production process for a growing team Existing network of freelance talent and production vendors
